Designed for the chase - styled for comfort

Introducing the “Matopo®” range of adventure footwear: designed for serious usage, each style combines TOUGHNESS with SUPREME WEARABILITY.

The Matopo Hills near Bulawayo form some of the roughest terrain in Southern Africa. British Army colonel LORD BADEN-POWELL scouted and fought in these hills during the Matabele Rebellions and was inspired to form his world-renowned youth movement, the Boy Scouts.

Toughness: In addition to the superb quality of the hides used, each pair is double-stitched throughout. Brass rivets are placed at stress points to reinforce the double-stitching.

Supreme wearability: Here’s how: Our safari styles enclose your foot in a smooth, 100% leather lining with a padded arch support. The leather lining improves waterproofing while allowing the the foot to breathe.
A micro cellular midsole in natural rubber increases your walking comfort, while a Stitch-Tex ® insole greatly improves on tear strength as well as water resistance. Finally, the shoe sole is manufactured of natural composite rubber and moulded to provide plenty of grip.
